BSB are usually mounted in pairs (back-to-back or face-to-face), or in triple or quadruple sets when greater support is needed. All Viwanda BSB are specially manufactured for Universal Mounting. This maximizes the convenience to randomly match all the bearings purchased, and simplify inventory control.
The < marking on the outer ring indicates the face side, and the contact angle arrangements:
< > is back to back or DB (or O arrangement)
> < is face to face or DF (or X arrangement)
< < is tandem arrangement, or DT
